Dancing to Sacred Sisterhood & Slaying the Time Dragon

There is a special kind of magic when women can come together and honor the gift of Sacred Sisterhood. It’s been absent for far too long in history, but here and now, we have the opportunity to build it within ourselves and our communities. For some, this may be a new concept—perhaps there’s been a tendency to compete with other women rather than collaborate. But for me, I was blessed to grow up with a strong group of girlfriends who taught me the values of sisterhood, loyalty, and truly sticking by your girls.
Beyond that, I’ve been part of many women’s circles and have witnessed some of the most healing and powerful moments that arise when women come together with the intention to heal and create. There’s something about moving in rhythm together, allowing ourselves to be seen, and sharing our vulnerabilities that strengthens the bonds of sisterhood in a way that words alone cannot express.
In recent years, I’ve felt a growing desire to be part of a true sisterhood, but I’ve also struggled to find the right space for it. I know I’ve kept my distance at times, but I now see that deep, aligned connections don’t just happen—they are built with intention. I’m ready to create that space with women who uplift and understand me, without judgment.
The Flow of Feminine Time
When women support one another, something profound happens—not just within our relationships, but within our very experience of time. Have you ever noticed how time seems to stretch and bend when you’re fully immersed in joy and connection? When you’re with your sisters, doing work that feels aligned, the hours pass effortlessly, yet at the same time, there’s a sense of expansion. This is what I call Slaying the Time Dragon—breaking free from the scarcity mindset of "never enough time" and stepping into the abundance that collaboration and joy bring.
In Sacred Sisterhood, we don’t have to take on the weight of the world alone. We delegate, we uplift, we co-create. Life feels lighter, more enjoyable. When we dance together—whether physically or metaphorically—we stop fighting time and start flowing with it. This is the true power of the Divine Feminine: to shift our perception of time and energy from one of struggle to one of grace.

The Sisterhood Blocks
Sisterhood is so important, but why is it so difficult for women to cultivate this vital relationship in today’s society? Here are some of the key barriers that stand in the way:
Jealousy, lack of trust, gossip, and fear – These are some of the most common blocks to sisterhood. When we feel insecure, we may project that onto other women rather than embracing them as allies.
Momma issues and sister issues – Our early relationships with the women in our lives shape how we see and interact with other women as adults. If we had strained relationships with our mothers or sisters, we may carry those wounds into our friendships.
Competition – Whether it’s for decent partners, jobs, titles, or status, we’ve been conditioned to believe that opportunities and love are scarce. This scarcity mindset can make women see each other as rivals instead of allies.
Lack of communication and understanding – Without open, honest conversations, misunderstandings and assumptions can easily drive wedges between women.
Judgment and the fear of being judged – Women have been judged for centuries—by their appearance, sexuality, choices, and roles in society. Because of this, we often assume others are judging us, or we judge others in return.
Cultural and generational gaps – Many of us were raised by women from entirely different eras or cultures, which can create deep-rooted differences in expectations and beliefs about womanhood and sisterhood.

In the last five years, though I have craved a sense of genuine sisterhood, I have experienced some of these blocks—either expressed by myself or by the women I have surrounded myself with—and it has truly affected my confidence and happiness. Taking this time last year to reflect on the past, I have seen how I could have communicated better and perhaps not jumped to conclusions before having honest conversations. But growth comes from awareness, and now, I am choosing to approach sisterhood with more openness, curiosity, and compassion. I am ready to cultivate deeper, more meaningful connections with women who align with my values—women who lift each other up, hold space for vulnerability, and embrace the magic of true sisterhood.
Building a New Reality Together
Imagine a world where women come together not in competition, but in collaboration. Where we support one another’s dreams, knowing that one woman’s success is a victory for us all. Imagine a world where our time is not stolen by stress and endless to-do lists, but enriched by deep connection, creativity, and shared purpose.
From past experience, I know there is so much to gain from having a solid group of women by your side—not just receiving support, but also showing up for them in return. True sisterhood is a reciprocal bond, a space where we uplift each other, grow together, and celebrate each other's victories. As I move forward, these are the things I am looking to cultivate through Sacred Sisterhood:
Companionship – A deep sense of belonging and connection, knowing you have sisters who genuinely care about you and walk alongside you in life.
Understanding – A space where you can be your authentic self without fear of judgment, where others truly listen, empathize, and hold space for your emotions.
Positive Reflections – Sisters who mirror back your strengths, beauty, and potential, reminding you of who you truly are, even in moments of doubt.
Increased Manifestation – When powerful, aligned women come together with shared intentions, energy amplifies, and dreams become reality faster.
Compassion – A circle where kindness, patience, and unconditional love flow freely, allowing everyone to grow and heal without fear of rejection.
Honesty – A foundation of trust where truth is spoken with love, helping each other see blind spots and evolve without judgment or ego.
Peace of Mind – The comfort of knowing you are supported, that you don’t have to do everything alone, and that you are deeply valued in your community.
Tribe/Family – A chosen family of like-minded women who uplift, support, and celebrate each other through all of life’s seasons.
Encouragement – Women who push you to step into your highest potential.
Inspiration – Learning from each other's journeys and wisdom.
Healing – A safe space to release emotional wounds and grow.
Accountability – Sisters who help you stay true to your goals.
Celebration – A circle that truly rejoices in your successes.
Flow & Ease – When you're aligned with the right women, life feels more effortless.
Spiritual Growth – A shared journey of expansion and self-discovery.
This is the energy I want to cultivate in my own life and the lives of those around me. It’s time to reclaim the Sacred Sisterhood and slay the Time Dragon together.
The Power of Sisterhood in Action
Sisterhood isn’t just about personal connections—it has the power to transform the world around us. A beautiful example of this is happening right now in Assam, India, where a group of women, known as the Hargila Army, have come together to rewrite the narrative of the greater adjutant stork.
For years, this stork was seen as an ugly scavenger and a bad omen, leading people to drive it away or kill it, pushing the species to the brink of extinction. But a group of over 10,000 women, led by conservationist Dr. Purnima Devi Barman, decided to change the story. They began celebrating the stork, weaving it into Assamese culture through songs, artwork, and even baby showers for its hatchlings!
Through their collective power, support, and determination, these women have rescued the stork from near-extinction, proving that when women unite, they don’t just create change—they create life.
This story is a perfect metaphor for the power of Sacred Sisterhood. When we stop competing, tearing each other down, or letting society’s judgments dictate our relationships, we become a force of nature—capable of lifting each other up, healing wounds, and even saving something once deemed "lost".
If a group of women can change the fate of an entire species, imagine what we could do if we fully embraced the power of sisterhood in our own lives.
Total Lunar Eclipse: The 2025 Blood Moon
The Blood Moon (a total lunar eclipse) has long been associated with transformation, endings, and rebirth. In many ancient cultures, it symbolized deep feminine power, cycles of renewal, and the unveiling of truth. It’s a time of shedding the old, stepping into your power, and embracing your true essence—all of which align perfectly with Sacred Sisterhood and the Warrior archetype.
How Tonight's Blood Moon Ties in With Today's Themes:
For Sisterhood: The Blood Moon reminds us of the sacred cycles of women—our connection to the moon, the earth, and each other. Just as the Hargila Army reclaimed the stork, we too can reclaim sisterhood, breaking free from societal conditioning and learning to honor our bonds rather than compete or tear each other down. This moon is an invitation to release past wounds, past betrayals, and step into a new era of deep, unconditional support for one another.
For the Warrior Archetype: The Blood Moon is warrior energy at its finest—it’s a time to stand in our power, release fears, and fight for what truly matters. Like the women of Assam who fought to change the fate of a species, this moon calls us to rise, to slay our own inner dragons, and to become protectors of what is sacred—whether that’s our sisterhood, our truth, or our purpose.
As the Blood Moon rises tonight, let it serve as a reminder that we are stepping into a new era of sisterhood, strength, and transformation. Just as the moon goes through phases, so do we—shedding old fears, embracing new truths, and reclaiming the power that has always been ours.
A Call to Action
This week, I invite you to reflect on your relationship with sisterhood and time. Are you surrounding yourself with women who uplift you? How can you bring more collaboration and joy into your life so that time no longer feels like an enemy, but an ally?

Let’s dance, let’s connect, and let’s co-create a new reality where women thrive together.
